Garth Brooks is a distinguished country musician. As of recently, he has amassed a great number of fortune and accomplishments. To his credit, he is one of the only artists in history to garner diamond status for nine album releases. Before all that, his humble beginnings were in Oklahoma playing at bars and clubs. At that time, he was 23 years old. In two years, he would move to Nashville to pursue a record deal. His efforts finally bore fruits in 1989 when he released his self-titled debut album.
